BATTERY SWITCH COMPARISON

The South Beach Smoke SuperMAX™ Battery comes in two different switch options:

Automatic Switch
The Automatic Battery is the easiest battery to use and operates like a traditional cigarette. When you puff on your electronic cigarette, you are telling a computer chip located inside the battery to activate the atomizer and automatically produce vapor. When using the Automatic Battery you can create the thickest vapor by priming your e-cigarette, simply by taking one long deep puff and thicker vapor will be produced on subsequent puffs.

Manual Switch
The Manual Battery has a small button that you press to activate the atomization process and hold down while smoking. Manual batteries require no priming like the automatic batteries and produce thicker vapor more quickly and with less puffs. The Manual battery version will last about 25% less than the Automatic, but will create more vapor. Many people find that the button on the manual battery is manageable and does not interfere with their electronic smoking experience.

Conclusion
The choice of an automatic or manual battery really is a personal preference. You should consider if you don't want to have to press a button, then the automatic battery is probably a better choice for you. On the other hand, the manual battery does produce thicker vapor, and the best choice if you think this will enhance your electronic smoking enjoyment.

LID DOESN'T CLOSE
Received new charger yesterday and it worked as advertised, except the lid doesn't close! Called customer service - design flaw is a know issue that they are working to resolve! Batteries and cartridges are too long to fit in charging case with lid closed. Customer service was very nice and assured that a remedy was on the way. Hope so. Otherwise, I would give it a higher score. Needs to accommodate both standard AND long batteries to be totally useful.

Great
Love it! I did buy 1 extra battery, so I have one charging while I smoke the other. I am sold on the whole system. I hardly ever smoke a real cigg any more, since I started using these, regular ciggs taste horrible.

It doesn't fit
This would be a great product with one exception, you can't fit the battery and cartridge in the case while it is put together. Every time you want to use your e cig, you have to pull out both pieces and put them together. Many other companies making e cigs have thought of this and made the pack big enough. Other then that, it is useful. It has 6 slots, one for the battery and five for the cartridges. It also has two lights, one inside the pack and one on the bottom.

This thing is pretty cool. If it just stored and charged that would be great, but it has a flashlight, and interior light, and they just push it over the top. There is room for 6 catridges and one battery. Very convienent for taking different flavors on the go. However in order to achieve that perfect 5 stars from me, it would be great if you didn't have to remove the cartridge from the battery to store, nor screw the battery in. I hope a future version has just an empty slot capable of storing a full battery and cartridge. There seems to be room for it. Being able to store a charged battery, while charging another would bring this to a whole new level of awesome.

Holy Smoke! Man is this cool!
This is very very very cool. This brings the experience to a hole new level. It's the size as a pack of cigs (well a little bit bigger) and I am able to use it as as carrying case too -- except it recharges my extra battery while it stores it for me. Kudos to South Beach Smoke -- a great addition. Again... wow! Can you make it store MP3s too? lol
