What's the Right Level?
We recommend that all newbies start off with 1.8%. This is the most comparable level to a traditional cigarette and will provide the best results for those just making the switch for the first time. We also offer other levels of nicotine, allowing you to truly customize your vaping experience.

The nicotine level will directly affect your vaping experience and performance of your electronic cigarette. The term "throat hit" is commonly used to describe the intensity of your vape. As you experience with different nicotine levels, we suggest that you move slowly and do not make drastic jumps. Moving from 1.8% to 2.4% is recommend over jumping straight to 3.6%.

70% PG / 30% VG or MAX VG
- MAX VG provides the lightest throat hit and heavy vapor production.
- 70/30 provides a stronger throat hit and stronger flavor.
Selecting higher/lower PG or VG is a personal preference. It all depends on how strong or light you prefer your throat hit, vapor production and taste. Below is the experience you can expect from our PG vs. VG:
Propylene Glycol (PG):

Vegetable Glycerin (VG):

You can have a maximum of 3 flavor "shots" added to your e-Liquid. You can choose a single shot, a double shot or a triple shot*.
*A triple shot of flavor can sometimes result in changing the flavor or in a flavor that is too strong. We recommend 1 or 2 shots for most flavors.Flavor Strength
You can have a maximum of 3 flavor "shots" added to your custom blend. Depending on the number of flavors you select, you can choose to add extra flavor to any of the flavors.
EXAMPLE: if you select 3 flavors, you can only have a single "shot" of each flavor. However, if you select 2 flavors, one of the flavors may have a double "shot". Single flavor blends can have Single, Double, or Triple shots.

Battery Switch Comparison
The South Beach Smoke SuperMAX™ Battery comes in two different switch options:
Automatic Switch
The Automatic Battery is the easiest battery to use and operates like a traditional cigarette. When you puff on your electronic cigarette, you are telling a computer chip located inside the battery to activate the atomizer and automatically produce vapor. When using the Automatic Battery you can create the thickest vapor by priming your e-cigarette, simply by taking one long deep puff and thicker vapor will be produced on subsequent puffs.
Manual Switch
The Manual Battery has a small button that you press to activate the atomization process and hold down while smoking. Manual batteries require no priming like the automatic batteries and produce thicker vapor more quickly and with less puffs. The Manual battery version will last about 25% less than the Automatic, but will create more vapor. Many people find that the button on the manual battery is manageable and does not interfere with their electronic smoking experience.

The choice of an automatic or manual battery really is a personal preference.
